Worth knowing

Versatile and relevant

We conduct research in numerous fields: From the small structures of semiconductors to applications of microelectronics and aspects of software engineering to issues of energy networks.

Research and teaching

Good teaching creates the conditions for young researchers in the various working groups. Cutting-edge results and topics flow from research into teaching. Scientific work is part of the training.

Doctorate

Collaboration on research topics already sharpens the skills for scientific work during studies and can lead to a doctorate after a Master's degree.

Innovative teaching

The scientific examination of innovative teaching creates new teaching methods and contributes to the high quality of the degrees.

Partners

Some research projects are carried out in close cooperation with external partners: Business enterprises, municipalities, universities or other research institutes. Regionally and internationally.
